How to Grow in the Anointing and Power of God
Many people want more power off God and want to be able to do signs and wonders but are not prepared to put the hard work into it and not really interested in giving their whole life to Jesus. If you really want to increase your anointing and want to give your whole life for it this article is for you.
One day I was in a new Age bookshop looking at books on spells and on witchcraft and thinking of buying one. This was 17 years ago. Jesus said to my heart. "Get out of here and don't buy a book. You think you are doing research so you can talk to witches better, but you want to cross over and move in their power as you are sick of waiting for my power."
One thing you can say about Jesus is when he makes a point there is not much sense in an argument. I tried to tell Him that He was wrong, and yet how silly is that? Telling Jesus He was wrong.
7 years ago I was looking for the power of the anointing. Today I possess it in a little measure. Not as much as the people on the world stage, but quite a lot more than the average Sunday worshipping Christian. If I was going to boil down what I did to get here down to a few points this is what they are
Become set apart for God
There is not a lot of teaching out there about this, or if there is a lot of teaching, I just don't seem to see it in my travels.
To be set apart for God, you have to have purpose, destiny and vision even though those three seem like the same thing.
Your whole life has to be focused on doing God's will for your life.
Many people are stopped right here as they do not know their purpose on earth and God's will for their life so it is hard to be focused on something that they don't know about.
The will of God for your life is most often what you would love to do for God. If you ask yourself if time and money were no barriers or training was not a barrier what would you like to do for God.
All my life I wanted to be a preacher.
I have only preached 3 times from a pulpit and I am 43. I have wanted to do this for 29 years and all I have to show are 600+ articles/sermons and 400 videos on YouTube. You can see, that I have done a lot and yet I am still not doing what I was destined to do to my full capacity.
Once you find out what you want to do for God, you need to take small steps toward doing it.
Writing my first article was a small step. Getting 200 done was a larger step and passing the 600 mark was more and more. Getting a video camera and doing my first video was a larger step and then doing more and more was more of a step.
I did ten 1 hour teachings and put them on DVD and watched them and was fascinated at how powerfully the Holy Spirit spoke through me.
When you work out what you need to do, when you know the first step, you need to do that.
Secondly a good way to be set apart is to spend your time doing things that have more to do with God and His will in your life and less time doing things that are not Godly. This can mean stopping watching the amount of TV that you do, watching less DVD's and reading less Newspapers and magazines that are full of stuff we don't need to know about.
Spend time in the Word of God, in books that are going to equip you to do God's will in your life and watching edifying videos that will equip YouTube it is possible to spend many hours learning things about God and his purposes.
Another way to bet set apart for God is to be set apart with our money. Finding a way to spend 10% or 20% or higher of our income on good things for God Kingdom that are going to good things and not prosperity teachers is a good way to be set apart.
Obey the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit wants to direct all of us. If you cannot hear the Holy Spirit that can be fixed by going back and doing the last thing you think God told you to do that you did not do. When you obey that last direction you will get your next direction.
Being set apart for God and living out your purpose can only be really done well if you can hear from the Holy Spirit. Make sure that you obey as through obedience to Christ you will grow from the slave Master relationship with Jesus to a point where you are a friend of God and He is directing you and giving you a measure of His power and anointing.
God wants to be able to trust you with His power and anointing. For this power and anointing to drop in you therefore you need to and be:
• Know your purpose
• Know each step the Holy Spirit is giving you and doing it.
• Be only interested in serving God and not the world or your own passions.
• Be trustworthy with real power
• Have a good record of doing what you are told to do by God.

PS One very big key ingredient to a strong anointing that no one likes doing is time spent in prayer. Until you love the Lord enough to spend a lot of time with Him you will not walk in strong power.

The Value And Challenges Of Creating Teamwork And Team Success In Business Today
Is there such thing as The Three Musketeers team mantra of All for One, and One for all? Can it really exist in organizations today? Is there any such thing as team work, or as Tom Peters suggests, are teams a bunch of quirky individuals who typically rub each other up the wrong way, but through good leadership, know how to be their peculiar selves and how to win together?
The idea of team work is in effect a contradiction of a society grounded in individual achievement - through most of school and life it's about working and winning alone; winning a place at college, winning a job and so on. Once in a job, people are asked to work in teams to achieve shared goals, they talk about shared ownership, responsibility and trust. For many, this is an alien practice and young people are thrown into teams with a boss or manager with whom they may have no rapport or trust, yet they are expected to develop it, no matter what.
This may be their first sense of 'team', working with a group of people from a variety of cultures, ages and backgrounds with a variety of needs and values. A team invariably needs a variety of different skills and ideas, and yet it is often those necessary differences that lead to conflict, mistrust, personality clashes and poor performance. The ingredients to a creative and successful team are also the ingredients to conflict.
Within a team, people will define winning in a variety of reasons from winning together, winning at all costs and the key to winning is in detailed planning. We know from experience that some people in business want to win more than others, and that the word 'win' has many different meanings and value, and that shared responsibility is fine until something goes wrong and then it's someone's fault.
My Uncle's expression, used to be 'All for me and Sod the rest' as he built his business out of the end of the World War II. Back then at age 14, his desire to survive and to earn money to feed his family involved thieving rotten vegetables from the docks and bare-knuckle boxing. Although times are different now, this attitude still remains in some businesses when it comes to prospects, promotions, a car parking slot or a nod of approval from the Big Boss.
So who can you trust in business today? Who are the winners and losers in our highly competitive environment? According to Stephen Covey, "Trust is the glue that holds teams together, without it productivity will suffer." Surveys tell us that some 60% - though there is some evidence to say this figure could be as high as 88% - of performance issues are to be found in people issues, such as a lack of trust, soft skills, rapport and appreciation. As Robert Bales says that poor teamwork can prevent effective final performance. And it can also prevent team members from gaining satisfaction in being a member of the organization.
So it seems that without team work and team spirit, everyone loses but with teamwork there is significant chance that team members can win - or enjoy success - in ways that matter to them. When we're able to meet the needs of the individuals, they'll have a greater sense of self worth and engagement, enabling the team to achieve the seemingly impossible. Although this means that some people will win a little more than others, at least through team work they can all have a chance to win, and it is core values such as trust and leadership that make it work.
Whilst the Three Musketeers mission statement might be a little naïve, in the 21st Century, the value of their ability to work together to achieve success is, if anything, even more laudable. In the words of Robert Yates," It is amazing what can be accomplished when nobody cares about who gets the credit."

Auto Sales Success Increased Commissions Through Business Thank You Cards
High income car sales people know that consistent value added contact results in higher commissions. Joe Girard, listed as the greatest salesman in the world by Guinness World Records, proposed a rule suggesting each person you meet knows approximately 250 other people. Translation, each time you sell a car, if managed properly, you will have access to the roughly 250 people your new customer knows. You will have access, that is, if you farm the opportunity.
Joe Verde, trainer, coach, and mentor, states that every one of your sold customers knows someone who will be purchasing a vehicle in the next ninety days. Translation, if you had a hundred sold customers, that would be a hundred opportunities over the next 90 days. Imagine if you had a thousand customers!
Unfortunately, the majority of car sales people miss these opportunities. First, most fail to train their customers to contact them when they hear someone is in the market for a vehicle. Second, they fail to keep their name fresh in their customer's mind.
Business thank you cards, followed by a regularly scheduled sequence of business greeting cards, is a strength of auto and RV sales professionals. It is essential to note that true sales professionals rarely use electronic greeting cards. E-cards often end up in the receiver's spam folder. And, unlike paper greeting cards, E-cards fail to demonstrate any sincere time investment in their creation.
How should a business thank you card be created?
1. It must be a paper card,
2. It must include a personal note from the sender,
3. It should be posted with a real stamp,
4. Proper etiquette for a business thank you card is to show you are sincere,
5. Do not sell in a business thank you card. Saying thank you, or happy birthday, or Merry Christmas, and asking for a referral is poor taste.
Cultivating repeat customers, and their referrals, is a process that starts right at time of delivery. While doing the orientation, make it a point to explain to your new customer that as a commission sales professional referrals are important. Ask them to call you each time they hear someone mention about purchasing a vehicle. Be sure to give them several business cards and hint that you will be following up from time-to-time, especially on special occasions. That clears the way for your business thank you cards.
Bob Burg, in his book Endless Referrals, wrote "The pros, the champions, the ones who are determined to succeed, do the little things right consistently." He emphasizes that personal notes, like business thank you cards, are a way of establishing yourself and your credibility.
Similarly, David Fry, author of the Small Business Marketing Bible, describes a system for getting more referrals using a hands free follow up process. What is important is that he demonstrates how it engenders a deep relationship with customers. The nugget is that the system requires very little effort. Write me for a link.
